Worker text-message consent

This is the form a worker signs before their mobile number is added to a business’s LineTack allowlist. The business collects one per worker and keeps it. Until a worker’s number is on the allowlist, messages from it are dropped and their content is never stored.

LineTack text messages — consent

_______________________________ (the business) uses a service called LineTack. You send a text message to one number when you buy a part for a job, or do work that needs to go on the bill. Your office reviews what you send and decides what gets billed.

By signing below you agree to send and receive text messages from LineTack on behalf of the business named above, at the mobile number you give here, for that purpose.

  • Message frequency varies with how often you text.
  • Standard message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop messages. Reply HELP for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent is not a condition of employment or of any purchase.
  • Your messages, and any photos you send, are processed by LineTack on the business’s behalf. See the Privacy Policy.

For the business collecting these

  • Collect it before the number goes on the allowlist, not after.
  • Keep the signed forms. If a carrier or the campaign registry asks for proof of consent, this is it.
  • Record the date and how it was collected. LineTack stores those two facts against the worker.
  • Keep the line about consent not being a condition of employment. It is the one that matters most and the one most often dropped.
